HELLO!!! sorry I havent been around in a while but new position at work requires more time than I can seem to find. I hope everyones been well and Ill try to stop in more often. My golf cart has been sitting since Memorial day weekend and recently Ive noticed acid on the garage floor under my cart. I had a little too much water in the batteries so I removed some and got the level about 1/4" above the plates. This didn't fix my problem. All of the batteries are sweating, the entire battery is covered in moisture. I know about condensation and evaporation but this has me stumped. It has not been on the charger in quite some time and i havent driven it but it is still charged. PLEASE HELP!

Matt

Thanks for the input, the spots on the floor are raised like there is a reaction with the concrete so I automaticly thought the batteries were leaking but there was no drop in water level. The acid on the rack explains alot. I may be thinking into this too much. The temps outside were up and down there for awhile but have stayed pretty constant for a while now and i have not noticed any condensation. Oh well I guess we'll put this one to bed.

Thanks again, Matt

I was wondering where you've been hiding. I didn't see this thread until now. Good to see you here and I hope everything is going good on your end. :hattip:

Thanks HRC, everythings good, I hope the same for you. My little girl is getting older and work is very consuming so there is not alot of down time between the calls at work, the HoneyDo's and the "Daddy, come play" 's  :D

welome back matt! IF you get 20 minutes to yourself take out all of the batts and use baking soda and water mix or just go buy a can of terminal cleaner and soak down the battery rack itself, battery acid and metal dont mix, wire brush the rack and paint it the color of your choice.
