SCOBAR there is a OIL LEVEL PLUG and a DRAIN PLUG on the differential. Both plugs are on drivers side at rear of differential. The check plug is about even ( with the bottom of axle tube going to wheels ) and the drain plug is near the bottom. They both look a liitle like bolts but have a flange as part of head and have a fiber washer underneath to act as a seal. The oil level should be even with bottom of CHECK PLUG HOLE. DO NO EVER ADD FLUID INTO VENT NEAR TOP OF DIFFERENTIAL as it will ruin the motor.
I use a pump oil can with a flex spout to add oil, its slow but I waste far less oil than trying to use a funnel. I use 30 weight motor oil in all electric differentials. I change mine about every 3 years and have found no signs of metal nor discolored oil. I have had carts come in with almost no lub or over filled when filled through "vent plug" and riun the motors. When checking fluid level try and have cart as near level as possible to get correct level.
GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY YOUR CART.
