Anyone familiar with 88-98 Chevy 1500's?

I have a 94 1500 and the trans is slipping bad in the lower gears. I found this one used on craigslist but not sure if it will fit. I went to Oriellys and we are confused because the computer shows his 93 transmission should be a 12 pin and not 13.

His truck is a 93 Chevy 2500 350 engine automatic 2wd 4L60E tranny.
Mine is a 94 Chevy 1500 350 engine automatic 2wd.

How can I find out if my trans is the computer controlled 4L60E or just the 4L60? What are these pin plugs anyway? Thanks!!

2nd question I wouldn't mind doing a little work to change this truck to a 4x4. I found a 94 Z71 parts truck with a 700R4 tranny and transfer case for $300. Will this 4wd transmission bolt to my 2wd engine and then later I can put a solid axle in the front?

Nevermind I was able to find out some more about the tranny and neither will work. I think mine is a 4l60e and a transmission repair shop said the 93 and 94 models used the same 4l60e. It should fit but the wiring connector plugs are different for some reason. The 700r4 is another name for 4l60 non electronic model from what I understand. Dang why is it this hard to find a transmission?
