Another Dumb Battery Question

I think I'm fed up with lead acid batteries and might try the lithiums. Had to get pushed after 12 holes yesterday.

I don't think I can blame the Trojan's, I can the fellas I had looking after the house and cart during the last 3 summers. Apparently the lithiums don't lose charge like the lead acid do.

I just junked my lead acid batteries, and installed 4- 12 volt AGM deep cycle golf cart batteries, which I purchased on Ebay for $1100. Maintenance free, and so far awesome!

I'm going to look pretty soon as soon as I finish a project and get a couple days to look around. I'm getting tired of running out of juice so soon. It seems Trojan is in the lithium business too.

But I can only expect 5-6 yrs then I'll probably stick with Trojan. I do like the idea of lithium if they are working like the companies claim.

bought a smart charger for $20 on amazon.
Lithium batteries are great, much lighter, last much longer, but up to 200% higher in cost. I guess if you plan on keeping your cart for many years, it probably makes sense. Good luck
