Alignment IS WAY OFF

I am new to the site and golf carts... We just bought electric 1990 - Club Car and the first thing I noticed was the steering wheel when you let it go it moves goes to the RIGHT.. You have to hold the steering wheel (fight the wheel) to keep it straight. I'm mechanically inclined, but have NO idea on camber, caster and adjustments that need to be made. What I do know is the spindles seem to have play and the tires are worn outside on one and inside on another.

It could just need the toe set. Are the tires standing straight up and down? Worn/bad tires can also cause the cart to pull.

The tires are straight up and down. All the equipment is original and the rack is connected on one side to a main arm that controls I think the tie rods. Everything is adjustable, but I know if I get into adjusting them it could get messy. The tires are definitely worn, but something is really off to make the wheel swing to the right. I looked at all the rods and rack and it appears to proper. Nothing seems to be bent.

Dumb question how do you put photo's up..

I'd start with setting the toe. 1/16" to 1/8" of toe in is what you want. Then I'd get some good tires on the front and make sure the air pressure is even on the tires. You'd be surprised what mis matched tires, uneven air pressure or worn tires will do to the steering on a golf cart.

Are their seals in side the arms and spindles.. If I had to guess the old lady who owned it never did a thing to it maintenance wise. I'll get the air pressure right and tow in as suggested and try that. The steering wheel is totally off is their an adjustment to straighten that out also. Do they sell a steering kit to replace all those seals.

You can get all the parts for the steering. If you can post some close up pictures of the steering maybe we can pin point if there's something bent or something wrong.

Before I would fool with the alignment I would pull both wheels and check all bearings since you mentioned slack in the spindles, (I know you said it pulls to the right but I would check both sides) after that is corrected then work on alignment. Once you get to that point, check all tie rod ends for wear and replace as needed before adjusting. Make sure you grease all grease points also. You can just switch (rotate) your front tires to see if that has any effect.

Petey's got some good points.
The front end is over 20 years old and subject to wearing king pins, tie rods, bearings etc, who knows what kind of maintenance it received.
Check your tire pressures, should be around 22 lbs for best steering and ride.
