When my OBC went out I temporarily did the bypass thing on the charger. After running my cart hard this weekend, I plugged in the DC before I pugged in the AC. I now know that's a no-no.

Now the charger won't come on. I checked for loose wires ( I had been trail riding) and everything seems tight. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance.

Thanks The charger was working fine after the bypass until I connected the DC before the AC. I was wondering if there was a fuse or relay I might have blown. I really don't have access to another cart to check the charger.

your fuse you should be able to see from front of charger.......its the v shaped lead peice..........there is a relay there is a circuit breaker the little black switch on front of charger and ther are diodes inside........get a manual and there are step by steps on dignosing any problem you might have................you,ll need a multi meter ( voltage meter )....................................

If its a 48v cart check the fuse that is located under the seat behind the DC plug, it is a 3/8amp glass fuse on a grey wire. T

This is the communication link between the charger and the OBC

Thanks guys for all your help. I am embarrased to say that I must have hit the receptacle at some time or another and knocked a wire loose. Once I repaired the receptacle, the charger came on. Whew!
