98 wont go

I have a 1998 EZ GO with the run/tow switch. The silenoid will click but it wont run. I jumped the silenoid and still nothing. Any suggestions

What's the total battery pack voltage?

Total pack is 36.6 volts. All batteries load test good.

My thoughts are leaning toward a bad controller.
Do you have any mods done to the cart like a lift, larger tires, rear seat etc?
FYI 36.6v is only about 50% charged. It's not really part of the diagnoses, just an observation.

The cart is stock. We rode the cart about 2 miles, parked it and the next day it would not go. Is there a way to test the controller or the part on the gas pedal that tells the controller to speed up?

OK. I checked everything by the above checklist and all checked as specified. I have charged the cart and the voltage is now 39 volts. Does this mean bad controller or possible bad motor? Also, is there a way to jump the motor to be able to rule it out?

OK, I checked the motor by jumping it and it ran. Does this mean it is the controller?

Have you tried jumping the solenoid? If you jump it make the jumper connection with the run tow switch in the tow position. If all your connections are good it's probably the controller
