I have a 98 e-z go txt which you guys helped me with last year and thanks to all of you. Long story short some one stole it trashed it and now i have to fix it. I have replaced both front springs and installed a dropped axle for a 350 workhorse which BUGGIES said would bolt right in and it does after some drilling to match the bolt pattern of the new axle. My problem is that where the tie rods attach to the steering rack assembly now hit the front axle. Do I need to mod the axle or have I done something wrong.

Thanks again

Randy

Nope still have the TXT ones in, but that would not change this. The axle hits where the tie rods attach to the casting from the steering rack assembly. Should the axle be mounted under or over the top of the springs??? Do
I need to change the spindles too??

Thanks
Randy

How the axle mounts (top or bottom) depends on the spindles. Was the cart lited before it was stolen? If not you'll ned to either use the Workhorse spindles or risers on the stock spindles. If you could post some pictures of your set up it would help to figure ot what the problem is...

O.K. Just got my new steering rack in today. I will get it back together in the next day or two and try and post some pix. Yes the cart was lifted before I bought it but not properly. It was from all home made stuff.

Thanks as allways
