97 Club Car DS

I have a 97 Club Car DS 48 volt golf cart, While I was riding it a few days ago, I stopped and got off the cart and when I got back in the cart it would not go in forward or reverse, therefore I raised the seat to take a look at it. I tried pushing the accelerator and nothing happened, but the solenoid was clicking, after I put the seat back down and tried moving the cart into reverse it worked, once I got cart back home it now only goes into reverse part of the time. Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks

clean and check all your connections to the batteries and to the solenoids. Sounds like a possible loose or broken wire.

Went today and cleaned all posts on the batteries and cleaned the ends of the battery cables, after that I checked and couldn't find any loose or disconnected wires. After all this I put it in reverse and it worked everytime, but still no forward.

Have you checked the f/r switch and the connection on the switch?
