96 ez go

Have a 96 ez go that that a strange problem. When you creep along at one or two mph for five or ten minutes it comes to a stop and the only way to get it going again is to put in reverse and back up a few yards then forward fine again. Anyone have a clue?

Is it a fleet cart or (DCS run / tow switch on controller cover)?

Okay it's a DCS cart.

The controller is probably going into thermal shut down from running at the slower speed. This is a pretty commomn problem with the DCS carts. If all your connections are clean and tight my guess would be the controller is going bad. Next time it stops raise the seat and check ALL cables to see if any are hot. Also check the heatsink on the controller to see if it's hot.
