96 Club Car DS 48v Charger Blinks and Shuts Off

The charging system has been working well. I plugged it in today and the charger immediately blinks and shuts off. I have studied the wiring diagrams on you site, and Thank You for making them available, the diagram showed a fuse coupling on a gray wire coming off the charger plug in. I’m not finding a gray wire or fused connection. Where am I going wrong? I did ck other diagrams for possible clues. Nothing there. I need some help. Thanks, Ruallooker
 
Sorry, I may have misunderstood. The charger has 2 lights, one yellow and one green. When I connect the charger now it blinks yellow then green and immediately shuts down. I have been using this same charger for over two years with no problems. I do have a gray wire that has been cut short and leads no where. I must be missing something here. I don’t know if it’s the original charger or not, but it has worked well for 2 years. Thanks again
 
If your charger has lights and not a meter on the front then it's not the original charger and it sounds like someone bypassed the OBC some time ago as said by GCW. The issue you are having now appears to be with the charger and that light sequence may be a code for an error.

Perhaps if you post up the make and model of the charger someone here has the same and can give you better information. Otherwise, look up the charger on a search and maybe you'll find the manual.
