I have purchased a 95 medalist for $5oo, that has had a re manned 4 stroke. I have changed the body over from the old metal to the new lexan/plastic. I have put larger tire's on it (20x10x8), added a 5" drop axle lift kit. The engine when cold will backfire thru carb when cold. I have adjusted the valves (.06) for longer run times. the cart was only used at the horse track to run the owner from and to the stables and grand stand. I believe that the old owner has played with the governor. Also when the cart the cart starts out and climbing a hill it bogs down. Any advice would help.
