95 Club Car 36v

Well on this 95 re wire I put a jumper wire on the two large solenoid turn the key on put it in forward or reverse and the wheels start turning. When I push the Go stick it goes faster like its supposed to. is this a bad F/R switch?
 
thats a bad solenoid if your jumping it and cart is running...........................................

Found the problem it was a bad ground from the solenoid going to the V glide and the F/R switch was shorting out so i replaced it to. seems to be all good now gonna take her out for a longer test ride when the rain stops. Hopefully we will be good for the New Years Eve Gator bowl parade this wk end!

Hmm dosn,t make sense if you could jump the solenoid and cart ran.....a bad ground going to it wouldn,t let that happen unless it was an intermittant type of thing......anyways always nice when its a cheap easy fix.........................................
