93 par wants to throw belt

when I give my cart a bunch of gas it starts to make a noise and wants to throw the belt. Any ideas?

Wow, I wasnt really expecting a response. Most forums, get no response.

Truth is, I am looking to buy this cart. I can't tell you which belt it is. The guy selling it says it makes a noise and wants to throw a belt if you floor it.

Reason I am asking is I am curious what the costs would be to fix if I got it.

it just maybe the wrong belt, if it drives fine otherwise i would say its fixable without alot of money

but its hard to tell from here

Well I went and test drove it. I didnt make it ten feet before plastic parts started flying out from underneath the cart. It is the main drive belt coming off. The main clutch looks good but the part that is bigger and has the spring in it. Looks like a big pully opposite of the main clutch is where the pieces came from. Engine ran good, cart is in decent shapre. Wants a 1000 for it. How much to replace the secondary clutch or whatever the part is called.
