91- 92 YAMAHA 4 STROKE

i am looking for some help please. I have a 91-92 g5 yamaha and it will not do any thing when you hit the gas pedal. but if u jump the selinoid it will crank but still not start i do know it does not have any spark but that does not explain why it will not crank when gas pedel is pushed

the gas pedal is connected to a kill switch
check this first.
as soon as you release the pedal it kills spark
from the igniter to coil to spark plug.

check the contacts with an ohmeter
i beleive the switch is normally closed
pedal off and open when pressed.
