Finally got all my parts , and going to start rebuild tomorrow , took 2 weeks to get wiring straight , but that's finally done , got complete top end kit , fuel pump kit , just put all new fuel lines. and rebuilt srarter and F/R switch , all new microswitches.
this one should get me at least 3 or 4 years .
I've had this engine out and in so many times that it took 15 min to set it on the bench this afternoon , practice , practice , practice

I have rebuilt many lawn mower engines and some racing mower engines all 4 stroke,
I have built more than 1 car racing engines that did pretty well on the track , and a lot of
car/ truck engines all 4 stroke , BUT THIS D... LITTLE 2 STROKE CART ENGINE IS
WHIPPING MY A.. .
so far I have used 2 pistons 5 sets of rings and the cylinder is still laying on my bench ,
just can't seem to get the thing to go back together , got it on once but had very bad
compression so I pulled it back down and had broken a ring ,, the first of many , ordering
another piston next week along with 3 sets of rings and will have another go at it then .
I have a 2 cycle ring squeezer don't fit the piston very well so have been useing a water
pipe clamp ( works better ). have hoaned the jug and checked all the bottom edges
with a small file to remove even the hint of any burr , just never seen so close a
tolerance on any other engine in my life , but I will make it work , probably not very
cost efficiently . I now see why so many folks don't want to work on them .
