Hello to all, new member here, I have been going thru this site and let me tell you it's AWESOME!! I have a 86 Columbia gas cart which when put away last year was running fine but now go to try and start I get nothing, just a click at the solenoid. Here is the info and what I have done so far: serial # 3B10146C6 I changed the key switch last year, new battery this year, have taken all wires off starter/generator and jumped it and that ran fine I have power at the key switch, is there any way to properly test the key switch? Not real nuts about droppin another $100 on a switch if thats not the problem? Possible micro switch problem? Ohmed that and there was continuity there. Starting to run out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tim

It's a little slow around here being a holiday weekend. Someone will be along to help you out soon.

You said you got a new battery this year, but it does sound like a weak battery. Just to check, put it on a charger over night.

What about the switch that is connected to the gas pedal? You said you jumped it and it started and ran.

I would definately look at the battery connections and make sure that they are clean, and also the battery I would give it a good charge.
90% its in those areas.
