Hi Grizz,

yes sir, that should work for you. Can you wait long enough for me to be able to verify that... tommorrow about 4 pm central I can post my finding?

If the auction ends sooner (I didn't think to look).... it looks like the right start/gen, and the data/specs look right but I'm not 100% certain. I did see their no hassle return thing, so if it ends soon... get it for that price

No problem on the wait, I think this guy sells them all the time. This is for a friend of mine, I traded the cart to him and the next day the starter housing broke. So I kinda feel responsible for him. Thanks again Bob,

Hi Grizz

I did find out, that s/g will work.

Sorry to hear about that. Sometimes it is really strange how things like that happen. The funny thought is... it probably wouldn't have broke that day IF you still had it.... most likely the day after

I would also suggest checking the mounting brackets for the s/g, including the pinch bracket, and engine mounting bolts. The s/g housing usually breaks from either a manufacturing flaw (can take a long time) or unusually high stress. Stress focuses on the weakest point, and for those engines it is the s/g assy. Most common is for the pinch bracket to break, but mounts and housings do break from time to time. So just check those over real quick for any cracks, and make sure all the engine mounting bolts are tight. That will keep you out of trouble
