where can i find a used/ new 6 to 1 gear set for that year cart?

Lots of 12:1 stockers around but you are unlikely to find a used set of 8:1 or 6:1 gears anywhere.
You may not even be able to find a new set, I'm not sure if one is made for that year of cart.

when you say to slow what mote you running???? you go to 6:1 you need a torgue motor cause you will loose all bottom end
