69D Harley Davidson 3 Wheeled Golf Cart Starting Problems

69D Harley Davidson 3 wheeled golf cart with starting problems. Can anyone tell me the reason my motor on my cart turns over when I turn the key on? Turning the key on, is only supposed to cut power on not start, right? I'm thinking it might be the micro switch or pedal but when the pedal is pressed it will start running and when i let off it then it just goes to turning over {cranking}

It may be the solenoid is stuck or wired wrong. Try tapping on the solenoid and that my temporally fix the problem. If it's not a wiring problem you'll need to replace the solenoid.

The micro switch behind pedal was staying Ingaged after letting off pedal because it wasn’t coming all the way back. Now I got that figured out I can’t get spark so I got a new ignition coil n put on and still no spark
