Had a guy drop this 49 Chevy Cab-Over off yesterday. I'm told its been stored in a barn since 1962. He's lookin' to restore it. 42,000 miles, pretty clean but a ton a work. looks cool!, Yes
 
I'd fix that body up, slap a modern diesel power plant in it. As for a body... maybe a rollback car carrier or something like this:
 
he said he wants it to remain stock. another guy stopped today and said he had been tryin' to buy the cab off it for five years and the owner said he would only sell it whole, this dude today layed out 3K on my tool box and asked if that would buy the cab... :rotflmao: Nope i said. the new owner paid 5 for the truck on Friday :shutup:

cool pictures Gonzo :hattip: its gonna be tuff to bolt this cab back on that old running gear after its pounded out and painted. the owner is 76 so it will be up for sale sometime in the near future. i may get to do it my way yet.
 
now thats funny ya ask, i just pulled the cab in the shop on Tuesday to finish the body work. a guy dropped off the factory radio that was in it today, looks cool.
