Hey guys. Im gettin ready to build a new ezgo to go with my new house. My plan is to put a jakes lift kit, 400 or 500 amp controller, rear seat, heavy duty springs, and upgrade to 48 volts. I was looking at gornoman's cart and I like the way its layed out. I see how the powerwise charger and the 12 volt carger are used and hooked up. My only question is what about the read switch (white wire off the charger cup that turns to red) I know it usually hooks to the F & R with 36 volts. Do I have to move it or does it stay hooked up to the F & R?

I believe the way Gorno wired his extra batteries he still has 36 volts at the reed switch. He should be around soon to confirm this.

The reed switch and all other cart control circuits are still at 36v in my configuration. This probably explains why my 36v solenoid is still working fine.

You'll see a nice increase in speed and torque one you make the switch to 48 volts.
Keep us updated on the upgrade.
