Look in the passenger side glove box for the tag with the serial number. The first two numbers indicate the year.

It could be a bad connection on one of the cables or a problem with the forward and reverse switch. Start with checking ALL the cable connections.

Sonds like one or more weak batteries. Hook your meter to the battery pack and see how low the voltage is dropping when your going up hill and the cart slows down.

The way I check is with a digital volt meter connected to the battery pack. You can also check one battery at a time the same way. Connect the digital meter to the batteries and drive the cart and see how low each battery drops.

start with batteries and cables, if your unsure about cables get new ones.........clean all post and add distilled water to batteries if needed 1/8 inch above lead plates.......put charger on and let charge until charger shuts off than drive the cart 100 ft to get rid of surface charge.........when thats done test and load test each battery and check each cell with a hydrometer to make sure your dealing with good batteries.....................36.8 volts on a full charge isn,t good at all and if they are dropping to 22 or even 30 volts you have a battery issue or a cable issue so i think you have more than just a bad battery chances are they are shot and need replaced............post all your voltage readings from each battery before and than after a load test and your hydrometer readings ...............................
