Winched this cart out of a field where I was informed it had been sitting for 5 years. I put 3 diesel batteries in it and she worked. Gave it a quick paint job, chopped 6” outa windshield welded rear axle up and it’s a wheeling machine.
Just thought I’d share
Updates, the “ghetto” suspension was poor, original front spindles are junk, just old and bend easy due to poor design quality and not made for strength or longevity.
scored a beefy axle from a guy throwing one away, I will have to widen it tho as it’s narrower. The doner front axle acutually has a real tapered spindle and not a 3/4” bolt welded to a tube and called a “knuckle”
I stripped cart of all suspension. Started building a new battery box and rear 4 link suspension.
