2022 EZGO S4 Amber Lights With No Wiring or Bulbs

I just bought a new 2022 EZGO S4 Express golf cart. I noticed the socket hole in the front 2 amber lights had no wiring or bulbs. I checked with EZGO Customer Service and they told me that is the way it comes from the factory. Really?? Why not design the cart with no amber lens! I want to put in lights. The lens hole will a accommodate a 1/2 inch 2 tab twist lock bulb socket. Has anyone installed lamps in the empty amber lens on the S4?

Those s4's have the turn signal built into the headlight it self. The turn signal wires for the light are green and black for driver side and red and black on the passenger side.

They do, but the amber light lens have nothing in them, just an empty hole where the light socket is suppose to go. I don't need them as turn signals but just marker lights. As is the fixture will fill with water and dirt when I wash it. I also learned that the Explorer package which I have don't have the light kit as an option, it's only offered in the Commuter package. My dealer is checking with EZGO to see if there is any possible wiring option. If not I can wire them in myself. Thanks for responding to my post.

Hey Gpa001.. you wouldn't happen to know where to get a pigtail for that T/S socket would you?.. I've been pouring over the internet looking for a pigtail for THAT socket, which I have.. But cant find a pigtail nor an actual description of the socket itself.. "Ezgo socket".. Did manage to discover the headlight was a H8 thus H11 but that T/S.. Ughg

Hi Madmaxzenn, I bought the sockets from Countrycat.com I couldn't find the wiring plug connector so I made one from an electrical splice connector. I just pinched the ends and pushed it on. The rocker on/off switch from Amazon. So far it's working great. Here's the socket part #.... E-Z-GO BULB,TRSIG,ASSY (text)
$24.31
$24.31) (5+ In Stock

Part #: 619102

Thanks guys.. I found the connectors for both headlight and T/S last night.. After HOURS of searching and nearly going blind 😆.. After all that searching I just gotta say.. Why on Gods green earth do people have keep trying to reinvent the wheel..🤦‍♂️. Hundreds if not thousands of simple two pin weather proof connectors.. REALLY??!! I can see 20 or 30 just so you cannot inadvertently plug an O2 into a MAP but LORDY be.. uggg..

Parts store H11 connectors and then swung by a junk yard and went for a walk. The T/S socket looked to me like an fuel injector.. Sure enough those pigtails will work in a pinch but they dont 'click' / lock.. Least not with a smidge of grinding the edges so they'll seat ALL THE WAY in.. But I thought I'd look around a bit more and find that Mopar/Dodge connector GCW found to see if they fit better and so Gpa isnt wondering while he's waiting for them to show up . Sure enough that is exactly what they are, sockets themselves are identical.. So snagged a few of those pigtails and a socket.. $20.00!!!.. "You're killing me" lol.. Doggone inflation is ridiculous.. Oh and the brand new H11 pigtails were $16.. Which I saw several in the bone yard so had I thought about going to a junk yard before I went to the parts store I could of gotten all 4 pigtails for 20.. 5 a piece vs..🤦‍♂️.. Anyway hope this helps someone in the future.. 😉. Oh and if you look carefully

Not a big fan of Rivets.. Plus the rad is under the hood.. So decided I wanted to be able to unbolt the hood.. Thread certs dont exactly bite well in plastic,.least not the kind the hoods made of.. So ground some flats in washers so the flat sits snug against the hood (prevent rotation) then used the tried true "JB Weld Quick" to hold the certs to the washers and the washers to the hood.. 10/24 certs and 10/24 allen head button screws. For as much time as it took me to do that I could if drilled out removed and reriveted the hood on half a dozen times... Not sure it was a smart move but that's how I did it anyway..
