2013 EZ-GO TXT Gas Freedom Wiring

Hello, I’m new to the golf cart world and recently purchased a 2013 EZ-GO TXT Gas Freedom Cart at auction. The cart came with all the accessory wires cut at their source and at the fuse box. I think I have all that sorted out and repaired. However, my question is, I have the remaining main wiring harness wires left (see attached image) to figure out. Can someone please help determine what wires 1-4 are in the image? I think the #1 wire is for the reverse/back up micro switch. However, the wiring diagram I found online in the Repair and Service Manual shows three wires connecting to the micro switch when the switch only has one male spade terminal protruding from it (it's possible the other connectors rusted/broke off?).

I do not know what the #2 connection/wire is. Judging from its configuration (splice?), does it connect to the micro switch or is it just bent? If bent, I’ll clean up and reconnect with w butt connector.

The #3 connection has me curious as there are no two green wires noted in the wiring diagram and am not sure what they do.

Regarding #4, it looks as if the white and black wires were cut. I’m not sure where they go or if they were ever used.

Any help identifying what these wires are with images would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really disappointed in the zero feedback I've received on this in the two weeks that it's been posted. No one out there has a 2010-2013 EXGO TXT that can shed any light on what these wires are or what they are supposed to be connected to? No images of how similar carts are wired?

The micro switch should have at least 2 terminals. You should be able to tell by looking at the micro switch where the broken terminal(s) were.

The reverse beeper is not working. The micro switch only has one wire terminal connector on it. Based on @HotRodCarts response, "the micro switch should have at least 2 terminals". With that said, one or more of the terminals must have broken off the switch. Based on my image, I would guess that the wire numbered #1 goes to the switch. Since the #3 wire is a single closed connection, that leaves either the #2 or #4 wires. Do the #2 wires connect to a double wire adapter and to the Micro switch? Or, are the cut wires from #4 used for the reverse beeper?

Is this still a problem or is it solved? I’ve got a similar cart. 1 is your reverse buzzer wire to the reverse microswitch. The 3,4 connection ultimately runs to your keyswitch. The 2 connection is a piggyback connection to your other prong on the reverse microswitch. Red/white runs to your large solenoid post via a fusible link. Solid red on mine factory splices into the light green wire on the harness. And yes, the reverse micro should have two connections. The reverse micro is essentially for the buzzer only, thus, many people straightwire this connection/bypass it to avoid the buzzer.

Taking a good picture of your solenoid wiring could help as well. Carts are wired differently from year to year. With yours being rewired it may help to see how that area is wired.

Also, the red and green wires in your picture at the number 4 connection are from your pedal microswitch if that helps any for troubleshooting.

Essentially if everything else is wired correctly, connections 1 and 2 should connect to the reverse microswitch with 1 being your buzzer and 2 completing the ignition circuit.

Thanks everyone for your helpful comments. Problem solved. I ordered and installed a new reverse microswitch (came in having two male connectors) over the weekend and all appears to be good. In summary, I found that the #1 wire (red) connects to the reverse microswitch which goes to the reverse beeper. The #2 wires (red goes to the pedal box, red/white goes to the solenoid) and are piggybacked together and connect to the reverse microswitch. The #3 wires (dark green goes to the pedal box, light green goes to the key switch are connected correctly. Regardless of wanting the reverse buzzer to operate or not, my OCD could not let go this function not working or having any loose wiring not accounted for. Now to figure out what the two cut wires (#4 in the image) are for...

I am in a similar situation. I got an EZGO cart a couple years ago and put a predator engine in it. I just used the start that came on the engine. I ended up burning up 2 replacement starters and decided to put the original starter back in my cart. I have been having trouble finding the correct wiring instructions. Your thread has given me the help I was looking for. I want to reconnect the start switch in the gas pedal but I don't really care about the reverse beeper.
Thanks for sharing.
