2011 Precedent Won’t Run, No Click, No Reverse Buzzer

Hi All, I have a 2011 Club Car Precedent that won’t run. New batteries, 50 volts across the pack and it charges fine. I can hear a click at the micro switch, but no solenoid click. Tried replacing the solenoid, but no dice. (Bench tested the old solenoid after the fact and it works fine). The cart quit working a week ago, probably while it was plugged in and charging. I’m thinking maybe the obc lockout circuit? I think the big question is what kind of failure would include the reverse buzzer not working as well. In the past, the reverse buzzer worked without even pressing down on the pedal. Thoughts?

Solenoid will not activate if you have any number of unrelated faults. Try pushing the golf cart back and forth and see if the buzzer starts beeping or it tries to slow itself down. Also may want to check the 15 amp fuse near the solenoid.

Hi and thanks. Nothing when pushing cart back and forth on RUN mode. 15 amp fuse checked and good. Replaced speed sensor on motor, key switch, and f/r toggle switch. Tested blue and red wires from back of OBC. Both at 48-50 volts so I’m guessing it’s not OBC related. Could the controller cause an issue even if the solenoid isn’t clicking?

Reverse buzzer is activated by the controller. It sounds like the controller is not getting power. Check resources for your wiring diagram and make sure the main power inputs at the 16 pin connector are good and you have a good B- ground

Ok, I think I’m making progress… B- ground is good. The expected power is coming in from all pins at the 16 pin connector. Went through test procedure and jumped the solenoid ground wire at the 16 pin connector to the B- of the controller and heard the solenoid click. Did the same with the reverse buzzer wire and the buzzer sounded. Bad controller?
