2010 precedent no buzzer and no movement

I purchased a 12V iPod set up for my 2010 precedent from a golf accessory dealer. Not reading closely enough, I did not get a voltage reducer before hooking it up. It shorted when I hooked up power and now the golf cart will not move forward or backward and the reverse buzzer is shot. I sure welcome any thoughts or help.

Check the fuse that comes from the tow/run switch. Where did you hook it up to full battery pack or one battery.

theres a decent chance that if it wasn,t put in tow it might have took out the controller, they are very fussy about being put in tow when doing that sort of work......................
