2008 G19 Runs 50 Feet Then Stops and Won't Run In Forward

Ok this thing will go forward for about 50ft and quit. I can push it a little then it will go forward again. This doesnt happen all the time. It does have a push button f/r switch. Any ideas? I'm thinking its the switch, but im not sure? how do i check the switch?

When it loses forward does reverse still work?

yes it still has reverse...also when it is in forward the reverse buzzer is on and it goes in reverse

Im thinking it is the controller, but im not sure..... Is it a Regen cart? it has a push button f/r switch. How can i check the controller?

Also, I had to add water to the batteries.... I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem or not. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Have you tested the batteries? Checked all your cable connections? Low voltage can cause all kinds of weird things to happen. I'm not real familiar with Yamaha electric carts so maybe someone who is will roll through and give you some help.
