2008 EZGO Project Golf Cart

I have found an 2008 EZGO project golf cart for sale for $900. The guy I am talking to got it for a project and never got around to doing anything with it. It doesn't have batteries. It does have the motor but he doesn't know if it works because it was unbolted when he got it. The body and seats are in great shape. Is it worth it to buy and restore it without knowing much about it? I am trying to get one for my daughter to use on the golf course, I have found one with new batteries and everything on it for $3000.

The 2008 EZGO with no batteries would be a decent deal if it doesn't need anything else. The problem is you won't really know what other problems you'll run in to until you buy the batteries. What model and year is the golf cart you found for $3000? Welcome to the forum. :hattip:

I ended up finding a 2011 for $900 and replacing the batteries. I have a buddy that works at a battery store and he gave me a deal. Got it all done for $1600 total, so now the fun begins.
