2008 EZ-GO ST Sport 2+2

This cart has been running rich since day one and the dealer (in Jenkinsburg GA) said it just needs breaking in. Trust me this unit has had plenty of run in time and it has only gotten worse with black smoke and excessive fuel use. From what I am reading it sounds like the valves need adjusting. If this is the case this is no problem for me, I have the tools to do the job. Any other comments out there on this subject?

Welcome to the forum...

Normally the EZGO's will be hard to start cold when the valves need to be adjusted. I don't see why the dealer would tell you it would run rich until it's broken in? I'd go back to the ddealer and tell them to fix it, or find another dealer to take it to.
