2007 precedent

I have checked all wires. Swapped out obc with a buddy same year and model and the charger still will not come on . It works fine in his golf cart. They grey wire from the plug to the obc is fine. I dont know the answer please help.

With charger plugged in ground the grey wire at charge receptacle does charger come on this is your first post where have you heard about the grey wire

someone told me to make sure it is not broke. Dont mean to sound like a total idiot but grounded the plug what is the best way?

Just use a piece of wire, from the batterys negative 48vdc,
to either end of the gray wire.

ok I jumped the grey wire and the charger clicks and moves the the needle just a little on the charger.

great which end of the gray wire did you jump obc end or receptacle end?? Now you need to put your meter on the red and black wires on the charge receptacle, jump the gray wire again check the voltage. Then put your meter on the battery pack 48 volt and jump the gray wire. I'm thinking there is an obc problem it could be that it's not getting power. Give me the voltage measurements from the tests above.
