2006 Gas Ezgo problems" electrical"

Long story short, bought this cart that had been exposed to salt water....ie the beach. I have replaced the engine, and the engine harness. Or.....had one of my employees do it. Seems their was a mix up on the wiring when the new engine was installed. I need to know what the wires to the key switch and to the main harness and the fuse block are supposed to be connected. I tried to find a diagram in the rescources section, but had no luck on my model. Its a 2006 ezgo st sport. Gas Cart. If someone knows where a clear diagram that is color coded is, I would really appreciate it. I can get the engine to turn over by jumping the solenoid but will not spark at the plug..
Thanks

Yep, I found that already but it does not actually have a diagram, it shows parts diagrams but not a labeled wire coded diagram. Less I missed the page

I have a 97 workhorse and I don't know if they are wired the same. Firstly, you need a digital multitester to trace circuit continuity.

The solenoid has two small terminals. One small one is connected to ground. The other one is live with two (or three depending on where the ignition coil wire is attached) small wires attached/hooked to it. One of those wires go to the battery plus. The other one to the ignitor. So trace that to the ignitor. And the 3rd one to the ignition coil.

The ignition coil has 2 small wires. One connected to the ignitor and the other to the live wire coming out of the solenoid.

The pulsar has two wires, both connected to the ignitor. The last wire in the ignitor is colored black. And like all black wires, this is ground.

If you are looking at a factory built harness, it is best to expose all the wires to be able to trace connections, unless you have a color coded wiring diagram .

Thank you for help....I just figured the starter section out, trying to figure out the key switch/ wiring to the cdi box. Does the cdi need 12 to operate the engine or does it, cause thats what it looking like in the harness.
