2006 48 Volt Club Car Stops Moving In Forward Or Reverse

I have a 2006 48 volt Club Car that has started acting up. It intermittently stops moving in forward or reverse, and the reverse buzzer is on all the time in either switch position. It has the rocker switch control not the lever. Sometimes just driving it , it will just stop and the buzzer will go off. you can get it to go every once in awhile by switching the Tow/Run switch multiple times. I had a new solenoid. So I tried it. Didn't fix the problem. Any Info would be great if anyone has had this problem. I know the 06's have to be plugged in to a diagnostic compter to find out anything. But I was trying to get away from that if possible. He's 3 hrs away.HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

Disconnect all power Wait 30 seconds and reconnect. Make sure your tow run switches in tow Let me know what happens.

I'm thinking of 3 areas that could cause this problem.
1 forward and reverse switch or wires
2 Tow run switch, diode or wires
3 controller

OBC will stop it from running, but will not cause reverse buzzer to sound

Is there a way to test the controller? Another odd thing is I unplugged the cluster connector off the F/R rocker and was cleaning the connector. It was buzzing then I unplugged it, it stopped. But then I put some contact cleaner in the connector it started buzzing again without being hooked to the rocker. Something was telling the buzzer to buzz and it wasn't the switch.

Pull the plug on the controller large one with 20 wires, did you just wash the unit

Tow/Run Switch Circuit
The Tow/Run switch performs the following function when placed in the TOW position:
1. Deactivates the vehicle’s control circuit through the onboard computer (OBC) white wire and the light
blue and gray wires of the speed controller.
The Tow/Run switch performs the following functions when placed in the RUN position:
1. Activates the vehicle’s control circuit through the onboard computer (OBC) white wire and the light blue
and gray wires of the speed controller.
2. Provides power to the key switch and the dash-mounted battery warning light.
3. Provides power to the MCOR limit switch through the key switch.
4. Provides power to the OBC yellow wire and the green wire of the speed controller through the key switch
and MCOR limit switch.
5. Provides power to the solenoid through the key switch.
6. Provides power to the reverse buzzer through the pink wire.

Did you wash it the week before it started acting up??

Pull the 24 pin header out of the controller clean @ controller and plug end its looking more and more like controller.

the tow run switch applies power to the buzzer, the controller grounds the other buzzer wire orange/white so if buzzer is going off then there is something grounding the orange/white wire moisture, dirt, bad wire (shorting somewhere) and last the controller.

Yeah, it had been washed before it started acting up. I will clean all the connections and see what I come up with. Do you think I should use some dielectric grease on the connections?

And thanks so much for your help. Really appreciate it.
