2005 gas precedent

2005 gas precedent stalls when pedal about 1/4 down, new carb, fuel pump, adjust accelerator pedal cable, new drive belt, any sugestions, please help.

pedal 1/2 wayn or allway down run fine

how about air and fuel filters, spark plug......................air intake system sealed good and tight..........................

ok than this dosn,t make sense......is it doing anything else? its completely dying at 1/4 pedal?.......you have the spark plug gapped right?..........................

Sounds like a gov. adj.

Does it quit running or just fall on its face?

No it don't stall it jerks , replace accel. switch, could it be starter gen. brushes maybe

you need to make sure the throttle butterfly is complete closed when stopped and that the starter engages before the throttle starts to open. the brackets that hold the cables may also be bent, precedent throttle linkage are very touchy
