2004 ezgo goes slow

I purchased new batteries for my 2004 ezgo electric. It has been sitting in my garage for 8 months in need of new batteries, i purchased and installed today but cart runs very slow. Is there a reset button that needs to be reset somewhere to get it to run normal again, ...help please....

Did you charge the batteries before you drove the cart?
Did you check your tire pressures? 18-22 lbs?
What is the pack voltage measured at the charging port? It should be 38.2v or more.
