2003 Yamaha g22 gas

Newbie here with 03 g22, it quit altogether, I put a new battery in, it ran fine for 100 yards, and I thought that was it, but when I got back on, nothing again. My car knowledge told me solenoid, changed that, still nothing. Replaced brushes in the starter/generator, now it will try to turn over, but not start or move. What am I missing?

I got a 2004 G22 here that is dead. I wish someone had the wire diagram for it. It gets used for a hunting buggy so I need it fixed. If only i had the diagram I could figure it out.
