2003 Lift kit

I have a 2003 TXT and I am going to lift it. I was wondering what is the best lift drop axle or the spindle kit. I plan on using it for Turkey Hunting not a large amount of off roading. Is one safer than the other? Looking at around 5 inch kit.

Not that I know of. I suppose you could try it that way depending on how much lift the HD springs give you vs. the tire diameter you are using.

You'll still need the blocks that come with the lift unless you use a lift that uses different springs with more arch to lift the rear. The HD springs raise the cart 1-2" but the weight of the seat will bring it down a little...

Are the spindles hard to get out if i go with Jakes spindles, If i use the all sports drop axle do you have to have the steering riser? Which on is the most stable? I will have kids ridding on it at times? Thanks for all the help i have lifted most all makes and models of trucks and jeeps but this is my frist golf cart so i am just trying to get it right the first time.

I've never used a All Sports drop axle lift so I'm not sure if it uses risers or not. Someone else here may be able to give you more info on that...

As far as removing the spindles it's pretty simple. Just pop the tie rod end, remove one nut, slide the bolt out and the spindle is off...

In my opinion on the new style EZGO steering a spindle lift is the way to go. I prefer the Jakes lifts...

Jakes is the way to go, great quality and the stand by theres lifts!!! id go with them ive used others and nothing compares... unless you go custom

What size tire does Jakes 6 inch spindle lift take can it run a 25x11x12 tires? Does ez go and club car have the same bolt pattern? Thanks in advance for your help

Jakes recommends a 22" tire with the 6" spindle lift kit. I've used 23" with no problem. 25" tires may be cutting it close...

Club Car and EZGO have the same bolt pattern on the wheels...
