2003 gas ezgo golf cart backfiring

My friend has a 2003 gas ezgo 4 stroke and when he lets of the gas it backfires and when he is going up a hill. I,ve pus stp carb and injector in it changed the fuel filter and changed the plugs. What can be done to fix it?

When is the last time the valves were adjusted? You may want to check them. There's a how-to in the EZGO resource forum here that explains how to adjust the valves...

I ve looked in the resource and I was not able to find anything about the valve adjusment?

Is it hard to adjusted the valves? About how long will it take?

Its not hard at all. The first time it will take less than a hour. You'll need a feeler guage.

is the throttle butterfly closing all the way? that will cause backfire also
