Cart stops on small grade with four people on it, in the past it would go up steeper grades with no problem with four people. Has new batteries just installed. Any ideas???

Welcome to Cartaholics...

Is the cart a series or PDS drive system?

Check for any cables that are getting hot especially after climbing a hill. Make sure all the batteries are wired correctly.

New batteries take several charge cycles to get to full performance...

It's possible its the controller. I'd check the pack voltage when your climbing a hill or load test the batteries to be sure it's not low voltage causing the problem before you replace the controller. Does the cart run at full speed when your on level ground? Have you put the cart in diagnostic mode to see if there's any codes?

retightened, cables, seems to be ok. But would like to know more on how to check the diagnostic, do you remove cover next to batteries. I'm new to this.
