2001 EZGO GOLFCART 36 Volt Help

Pauses before moving in forward and reverse. Has a beefed up F&R switch (NEW). It done the same thing with the old F&R switch. What could it be? Have to move the selector a little sometimes to get it to go.

Possible failing solenoid. Jump the large posts of the solenoid with a 6g wire and try the cart.
