anyone know how to tell when your govner is bad.i have a brand new engine in it but really slow when you go up a hill. seams to run a little stronger when it gets warmed up. i have checked both clutches,carb and everthing i can think of.any ideas thanks

Sounds like a lean carb...

Either that or your linkage is out of adjustment.

carb is brand new,and all linkage is where it is suppose to be or real close.

Have you checked the valve lash?

new valves,guides and springs head was redone. valves set at 4 thousands .

Did you check them again after running the engine? It may not be your problem but I would reset them to rule it out. Make sure the engine is cold when you set the valves.
