I have a 2000.0 CCDS, gas. The carb choke button always needs to be depressed every time I start the cart... and every start I have to perform this procedure. I have checked the air box hose and see no leaks, does the mixture screw need adjusting? and how much? and which one is it? ? Also, is the engine supposed to cut out every time i perform a shift... so that I'm having to restart with the choke button depressed every time I change the gear? Thanx Hittman2.

If the weather is cool then yes, you have to choke it. You can set the cart up to stay running when you let off the pedal. I don't know how, but someone will chime in.

I'd pull the carb, give a good cleaning and blow it out with a compressor. It may not be the problem but you won't know unless you try...
