2 Lifts

Already got a Jakes 6" spindle lift on my 03 EZGO. Im looking to go laller and bigger tires...either 28s or 30s. My idea was kinda like Pimp Daddys by adding an Axle lift to it and running 2 lifts. What lift should I get? Biggest problem I can see with the build will be connecting the spindles to the steering box. Any thoughts?

rhgc... Don't know how you use your cart, but if you do any off-roading, I don't recommend doing this. My cart is used in Ocean Lakes on mostly flat paved roads. I do not think that Jake's would recommend it either. If you decide to do it... Your cart being an 03 probably has the steering box mounted on the axle so you shouldn't need any adapters for the steering arms. If you are using the cart for off-roading I suggest you go with the long travel kit from Jake's, Allsports, or any reputable manufacturer. :twocents: :hattip:

I do a lot of off-roading. Thanks for the input!! I would have made a mistake. I'm guessing it makes it unstable. What size tires can I put under a long travel?

It is not that it's unstable... it is the geometry of the front end. After you add the dropped axle and spindles...The attachment to the springs/body is put at such an angle that the front of the tire is so far away from the attachment point that impact could fold the whole assembly. Like I said, it suits my needs but I don't recommend it. Maybe Dirty South can chime in... I know they build a strong long travel kit....

8" ASM LT on an Ezgo, 28". 6" ASM LT 26". Some guys put 30's under the 8", but it limits the travel at the front fender wells. :hattip:

Not trying to talk you out of a long travel, but the price between the two is quite significant.
