1998 Yamaha 36v G16 repair help, Full throttle at touch of the pedal in forward/reverse!!

As the title states the Golf cart jerks and lurches forward or backward at full throttle at just the touch of the pedal. This thing basically launches into space and does a burnout on the pavement LOL. I have replaced the control sensor as well as the throttle sensor and it did not fix the problem. Since the cart is pulling full force with just a touch it is shutting down my batteries because of the 100 amp BMS shut down for the lithium batteries. Looking for an additional fix for this problem!

It has stock controller and stock solenoid, she is an OG! Lol

Did you get the correct TPS for the cart?

What does TPS stand for? if it is the throttle sensor then yes I believe I did match the correct OEM part number with the cart.

Sounds like the controller is seeing full throttle when you depress the pedal. Did this happen after the lithium up grade? Is this a moric controller or a GE controller?

It was happening before the lithium upgrade. Moric Controller. Its the original on the cart. Found one on cloud electric website for $200. After researching and upgrading everything I think it is coming down to the controller.
