1996 Club Car Gas Golf Cart

Just ordered some new shoes for my cart! What do you think?

Golf Cart 1

Golf Cart 2

Everything's been working out real good with the cart at the campground so far. Yesterday I extended the accelerator rod, adjusted the throttle cable, disabled the rev limiter, installed a tiny tach, and ziptied the governor to run at around 4200 wide open.

I went from 12mph stock to a little over 18mph.

Thanks Wass for the posts, they were a big help!

Those are some sharp wheels! Really changes the look of the cart.
Be sure to check the lugs in about a week. I have seen many people loose lug nuts when they first get new wheels. One person had his tire fall right off!

On a side note, I think you should spend some money on dog food. Poor thing looks like it is starving! :rotflmao:

The dog's a rat terrier, they're skinny like that, plus he's got longer legs than most. Believe me, he get's plenty to eat.

Anyone know where I can find a new style top with front supports?

Also, has anyone known someone who has bought a body that is molded from colored plastic? I see someone on ebay sells them for 389 plus shipping.

I know a place near me, any color body includes both front and rear. 2 years ago it was $125 + tax. Van Wert Ohio. They are in good shape. You need to pick through them. I bought a red one when I built Goliath.

LOL My 2 are BEAGLE- PUG mix and eat too much and are fat. They hardly have wrinkles anymore. LOL

New style tops at most local dealers new and used. New bodies any color 500. from what i have seen. The new style rear supports will bolt up to that rear seat you have, did one last week.

I can get the new style top for 120 plus another 65 for the front u-support, plus tax at the local dealer. That's not too bad. They want too much for the colored bodies though.

Thats what my buddy just paid, you will need the rear supports also to hook to your rear seat.

Just looked at your rear seat again, did you get two sets of top supports when you bought it? One set for old style one set for new style top. Just ran into that problem yesterday, Those after market seats are all different, new style rear supports won't bolt to that seat.

NEW PAINT!

I got it all put together last night. Only one scratch. :wallbash:

I have to say it looks awesome! I wanted to take it outside today for some pictures but that didn't work out. I went to pickup a new style top for it at the dealer but they only had one to choose from and it wasn't in that good of shape and he wanted 80% of new list price. I ended up ordering through him from the dealer in the cities. $200 for a new top and front support. He's going to pick it up on Wednesday. We thought about taking the camper out there today but decided to do the wild goose chase run instead.

Anyway thanks again EazyGo!

Looks great Wayne, cant wait to se it out in the sun. e just got back from the camground, we stayed there last night, sur was a great night for a nice hot fire. So when are you planning on taking your camper out then? We got that spot we were hoping for buy the river, but we still dont knw when we get to move tho. I think we are going to buy the deck that he is leaving. Noal and I re going to go halves, so we can both add on to our decks, so I will probably be out there a couple of nights this week working on it.

Nice weather we're having. You stayed at the campground, I'm jealous. I'm thinking we're going to shoot for Thursday to take the camper out there. We stopped in there after we left your shop on thursday and talked to Tammy. She told us we can bring it out anytime and that the power would be turned on on the 10th and water on the 15th. I forgot to ask if any of the bathrooms would be open. Later
