Yes COPB, it is. I measured the roll out 5 times to be sure. I take great pride in doing things right. Of course, you know that.
I need to look for a junker now. I got this spare engine and rear end just sitting here calling me to do something with them. But then I have this woman in a house yelling to me something about me spending one more dime on that ca..

Out of credit card debt as soon as the tax man comes in may with relief. Credit cards cut up. A little envelope hidden with $120 in it already, that has writing on it that says 08 BONANZA & WORLDS LONGEST YARD SALE.

What to do...... What to do......... I promised that female voice that I was going to prove to her that I can save money and we would have the cash to do both. I told her I would have $1500 in that envelope by July 24th. If I don't, I don't go to the Bonanza and she uses what ever is in the envelope to shop for herself. I get nothing.

I just got to prove that woman WRONG! She has already got a friend lined up to go shopping July 26th!!!!!

HELP ME!!!!!!

Keep saving Wass. I have faith in you. I'm saving to buy a truck and almost had a moment of weakness and bought a big a$$ train horn for the cart But I resisted.

I am resisting. Yea, so my wife lets me buy a POWER WASHER. 1750psi electric on sale at WALMART $94.99. We really needed on though. I was still able to put away $20 in that envelope.
I just was not happy with the turn signals on the cart. I had to have front ones. A little of wass ingeniousness and wola!!!

And here is a short video of them blinking. I know, boring

Once I soldered the wires directly to the bulb, I crimped on plug in connectors to them so I could replace them when they blow. Then I brought the plug in up near the bulb and wrapped 3M electrical tape around it till it was slightly larger then the tube, then forced it in the hole till only the bulb was sticking out about 3/8" so it could bee seen from the front at night. It ain't going no where and if it blows, I can just grab the bulb with pliers and pull it out for replacement.

Here is a good tip for everyone.

When wiring up acceseries, alway use a GOOD brand of electrical tape. I use 3M my self and it really holds together in all weather.

Been using some liquid electrical tape for a year or so for wires underneath carts, works really well for sealing out moisture. Of cource that will not work for your application shoving the bulbs into the tube. Works well in the place of shrink tube on battery cables also.

Yep, I use the liquid tape too at work though. I keep forgeting to buy it for home use as well.

Any how, I got it going faster now!!! I haven't broke 45mph yet but getting closer.
I made an adjustment on the carb, new spark plug, and had all 4 wheels balanced. I stood there and watched him closely to make sure all 4 zero'ed out.

43.9mph!!!

I bet if I take off the roof, I would hit 45 easily.
I just can't believe what I have accomplished with this cart. I never expected to break 30mph in a non lifted cart.
Selling both my carts because of my back surgery was the best thing I did. I got out of Credit Card debt and got me one FAST cart. I need to have a remoivable rear seat now. I am working on it now! LOL

For once I can honestly say I don't have any at home. What kinda person are you suggesting I am?
I hope to do another test run tonight. I am taking the top off. I think it is causing my touchy steering. At those speeds, the top can easily take some weight off the front to make it sensitive.

There is no doubt that the top is holding the speed down a bit. As for the steering, do you have the alignment "perfect", or do you have a bit of toe-in? A small bit of toe-in really settles the front end down.

No lift or tires. I can barely get in and out of it now. I did find some 2" tubing to make some bumpers. Just got to bring the cart home some weekend.
