I need a wiring diagram for my 1995 non regen cart. I have looked at the one on the forum but mine dont have a pie shaped box like the one shown on the forum. I am needing to know the correct way to wire up my silenoid. The small posts dont show which side is positive or negative.

Welcome to the forum...

The solenoid isn't polarity sensitive. Just make sure you keep the wires together as they are on the old solenoid. If there's a diode on the old solenoid aim the band toward the same wires its aimed at now...

Jack the back of the cart up and jump the two large posts on the solenoid. The cart should run when you press the go pedal with the jumper if the solenoid is bad. Or use a volt meter to see if the voltage is passing through the large posts on the solenoid.

Tried it. Still no go. With the silenoid jumpped, I can use a screwdriver to jump from the big post to the small post and cart will run until I press te accelerator, the it stops running.

This cart was rewired by the person I purchased it from and they could not get it to run. This is why I would like to have a schematic so that I can trace the wiring.

In 95 some Club Cars have a V Glide and some have a speed control mounted on the accelerator pedal.
I don't have a wiring diagram for the carts that have the speed control box on the accelerator pedal under the cart. I know there was a lot of problems with the 95 Club Cars that used this speed control. I replaced the speed control box with a V-glide potentiometer on a few carts that were having problems similar to yours...

Maybe someone else will chime in with more info...

Jack the rear wheels off the ground and using a voltmeter across the small posts on the solenoid, turn key switch on, F/R switch either in forward or reverse, and press the gas pedal. Do you get a voltage reading? The solenoid should operate and you would hear a click if you are getting your cart's 36 volts. Possible bad solenoid if you are getting the voltage and no click. If no voltage then check all small wires and switches.
I hope this helps.
