1994 sudden death?

I store the cart under shelter outdoors. It has been very cold outside, but I always keep the batts charged. I ran it a week ago, and today - nothing.
The pack is at 37.6XX, and the individual batteries average 6.35. I jacked it up, put in in gear and key on, tried F and R with same results.
I tried to jumper the solenoid (big terminals) and got a medium sized spark, but no wheel movement. I tried again and could not get the spark again. I waited a couple of hours and the same thing happened - a spark, then no spark. I do not have a diagram which is the first problem!
Thanks

Welcome!
Have you checked the inline fuses(2 I believe, near the solenoid)?

Check your email billyb22. I sent you something that may help. Let me know if you still have problems reading them.

Thanks for the manuals HRC,
I was hoping someone had the wiring schematic.
Or maybe a trouble shooting flow chart.
My serial number is: JH7-201267

Tonight I got the wheels to spin by jumpering the big hot side of the solenoid to the little terminal on the solenoid. After the "click" of the solenoid, I can press the gas pedal and get the wheels to spin like normal.
Is this a bad solenoid?

I checked the 1 inline fuse (10 amp blade style) and it is good.

billyb22,
1994 G9-EK/K1
Check the 2 wire connector under the solenoid that goes up to the 2 small terminals on the solenoid.
I had a 95 G14 with the same symptoms and it was a corroded/bad connection on that plug.

I believe you have a 1994 G9 by looking at the numbers you just posted. I'm not real familiar with the Yamaha's so I can't be of much help on this one. Check for a broken wire and connections on the small wires connected to your solenoid at both ends. Look around for any other broken wires or bad connections. I'm sure someone else will chime in with some other things you can check.
