1991 cc wheel bearing

this cart has spend some time in a gravel - sand pit-- they used it to run back and forth from the pit to the office-- in other words very wet, i have changed the front wheel bearings, the car is in very good shape considering the environment it has been in, now i need to changed the rear wheel bearings, thats where i need help

Pull the brake drum and remove the snap ring and the axle will slide out. The bearing will be pressed on the axle. I've been told if you pull both axles the spider gears will fall into the case. I'm not sure about this but I'd do one side at a time to be safe. Here's a link to a diagram that shows the snap ring...
